The Sioux Falls Winter Games, a non-profit entity, received a grant to kickstart community engagement in downtown Sioux Falls throughout the chilly winter months of the upcoming year.

Objective:

Establish a dynamic identity system to boost the promotion of the activities.

Solution:

We initiated the process by crafting a logo inspired by mid-century modern design and historical Olympic iconography. The "W" was constructed using a continuous upward-ascending ribbon, incorporating a vibrant array of colors to emphasize the concept that one can stay active even in cold weather. This ribbon subsequently became the visual focal point, seamlessly carrying the identity across both print and digital applications.
